Emergency Preparedness Resources and Training
The protection of your employees and the building is foremost in the minds of the Building Management Team. This chapter provides valuable information regarding emergencies at Aon Center. Each employee of your company should review the Emergency Procedures before fire/life/safety training or new tenant orientation program.
It is essential that all emergency procedures are fully understood and followed should an occasion arise. In the event an incident arises, the safe and rapid evacuation of the affected area is the Tenant’s responsibility. It is imperative that each employee becomes familiar with the procedures before an emergency arises.
As part of our commitment to safety and security, Shorenstein Realty Services has created a website that offers additional resources on emergency preparedness with information from creating a business continuity plan, to creating checklists for planning & responses to communications, and disaster response exercise. We invite you to use these resources by visiting our Property Resource for Emergency Preparedness (P.R.E.P.) website at http://preparedshorenstein.info/hub.cfm.
Shorenstein has prepared an on-line Fire Life Safety training site, which has been customized for 707 Wilshire Boulevard. This training site is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week by logging onto https://firelifesafety.aus.com.
The training on this site will explain the life safety systems in the building as well as provide a visual of evacuation routes. We strongly encourage you to have all new employees view this site as part of their employee orientation. We also ask you to remind your employees about the site on a regular basis, so that they have the opportunity to revisit the life safety systems and evacuation routes.
We invite you to learn how to implement your own emergency preparedness plans by using the resources from our PREP website.
